Artist Retreats 2015!
By far the most meaningful experiences of my last year have been at artist retreats. I have not just made new friends through them, but new families that I can grow and share experiences with…so much so, that one of the groups I met in France last year is traveling to Iceland together this year! These events are my heart and soul. I decided to host only two this year so that I can focus on making them extra special. I can’t wait to see how they unfold!
The second retreat is an hour outside of Milan, Italy from July 6-10, 2015. When I found the mansion we’ll be creating at there was no way I could turn it down. I immediately exclaimed: “I hope someone comes and shares this with me!”. The house that is booked for our living accommodations is super luxurious (totally opposite of what I’m used to booking into!) and I can’t wait to see it in person.

Both prices include all expenses while at retreat (living, food, locations, transportation, etc…). Travel to our living accommodations is the responsibility of attendee.
The difference between the retreats is that attendees share rooms (2 per room) in France whereas each attendee gets their own room in Italy.
The information packet details everything from our itinerary to addresses and info about the content of the retreat. If you decide to join me, be ready for an adventure and discovery of inner-inspiration. And lots of hugs. Always lots of hugs <3

Absolutely gorgeous places with such such potential, Brooke! Wonderful!
I am so excited, they are just beautiful! 🙂
This does not include airfare?
Hi Tracy! Unfortunately it does not. It includes meals, transportation while at the retreat, living accommodations, and of course the shooting locations, models, and education. Let me know if you have any other questions 🙂
Oh my gosh I want to do this so bad! I can’t even begin to describe how much you have taught me already! I can’t imagine how much I would learn on a retreat!!!!
Sooo, you are coming in Italy, where I live, exactly for my birthday and I can’t be with you…I think I’ going to cry 😛
Italian Workshop is scheduled with english or italian language?
Hi Luca! It will be in English – sadly I wish I knew Italian but never learned that language.
oh wow!!!!! So awesome to see and hear from those who have shared retreats with you! Wonderful and exciting!
Amazing! I’ve always wanted to go to France and Italy, so maybe I’ll be able to go 🙂
These retreats sound awesome! I hope I can attend one some day soon. Thank you, Brooke, for sharing your spirit with the world. I am so inspired by you in so many ways. Namaste <3
Brooke, I am seriously considering Italy, do you know if anyone from the states are going? Might ease the fear of the unknown for me..Heather
Hi Heather! I will check on that for you 🙂 I’m sure someone will though, it is usually a good mix and typically a lot from the US come over 🙂
I’m coming , just moving money over from savings. Thought about and said to myself. “Self” you need to go! I can figure it all out later.. Haven’t stopped thinking how fun it will be since I decided..
Hey Brooke, is Italy already full?
I’m drooling over this! I’ve looked into other artist retreats and have been a bit scared to act on them ~ but this is exactly what I need to do: I need to do things that scare me. Next year I’ll be more financially prepared for an artist retreat; until then, I may find my own version of a retreat and just immerse myself in it for a long weekend.
Side note ~ If anyone is interested, an Australian couple recently purchased a the 13th-Century Château de Gudanes in Château-Verdun (South of France). They have workshops this Summer, and you can follow their blog as they restore the chateau. It’s a story of endless surprises as they uncover hidden rooms and Medieval artwork.

I have promised myself one of these for 2016 – I hope you come back to Europe!
